Battery Recycling

Industrialization

Science is universal and is judged by its penetration into the various not that well understood mysteries of nature. Technology is culture specific and is judged by the contribution of technology to the society as a whole. Industry and industrialization have long been regarded as key elements in development, and they are important to the government as major creators of wealth. They are the means of conversion of raw materials into finished products and a source of foreign exchange and a source of environmental development and also a source o domestic employment. At the same time they have also caused a number of widespread environmental problems. Some of these problems arise from the extraction of raw materials for the purpose of mining and some problems arise from the huge industrial demands for the supply of water and energy. A second group of problems arises from the products of industry, especially chemical products which can have unexpected and also unwelcomed impacts to the environment. Battery recycling goes hand in hand with the proper disposal of batteries or battery disposal.
